Driving users to action for this high profile campaigning organisation
CND came to us with a website that had been built as a ‘quick fix’ but had become visually dated, confusing for visitors and frustrating for administrators.
As a membership organisation they needed a site that had clear user journeys to membership sign up, online donations and campaign actions. It needed to work well across devices and be visually engaging for a diverse supporter base.
We took a discovery led approach – listening to a range of users, running surveys and getting feedback – to ensure we put user needs at the heart of our solution, one which highlights clear pathways to action, makes it easy for staff to update and presents a consistent visual appearance.
What we liked
The challenge of visually representing an organisation like CND – to appeal both to supporters who’ve been passionately campaigning since the 60s and to younger supporters who’ve only recently become aware of these issues.
