Climate change in the semi-arid regions of India
An incredibly challenging request from Intasave saw us working on a long animation aimed at helping to explain impacts of climate change in rural communities in India. The target audience was primarily made up of communities with low literacy rates, so we used a traditional Indian story-telling technique of ‘Warli’ drawings. The whole animation was designed to be split into three parts, each directed at a different community in a different location in India, but could also be watched as a whole overview of three regions.
What we liked
One of the most exciting aspects about creating this animation was developing the ‘Warli’ style, which our animator has captured here so creatively.
