HIV in older women

Help Age were given the opportunity to present at the International Aids Conference in Washington DC  and asked us to produce a 3 minute film addressing the issue of older people’s rights in relation to HIV.

What we loved

The challenge! This one was massively against the clock, and we had to find 4 voices of older African women with varying regional accents in London. It involved Hannah and her mobile sound booth, in a store room of the Rwandan embassy!

We came to Hands Up with a very tight deadline and budget but they were more than happy to take on the challenge and it was an absolute pleasure working with them. They really helped us develop a clear brief, understood what we wanted to achieve and made the entire process run very smoothly and efficiently – and it was also fun! The end product is brilliant. We’ve received great feedback from staff and external audiences including other NGOs and policymakers. I can’t recommend working with Hands Up highly enough!
